Our Story

Support Sisterz is a community-focused nonprofit organization comprised of breast cancer survivors with a passion to financially and emotionally empower women who are battling breast and gynecological cancers. What originally began as a small support group between friends fighting the same battle soon flourished into a 501(c)3 organization focused on supporting women who live or work in Corona, Norco, Eastvale and surrounding areas. While Support Sisterz remains committed to its original mission of providing emotional support through monthly gatherings, we have expanded to additionally provide much needed financial support to women in treatment.

OUR MISSION

Combat Cancer Walk

Each year, on the third Saturday in October, Support Sisterz proudly hosts Combat Cancer Walk in support of local women battling breast and gynecological cancer. Funds raised enable us provide assistance with daily needs and medical expenses.

Sisterz Sit Down

A monthly support group open to women with breast and gynecological cancers, those in active treatment as well as remission. This monthly gathering provides women with an open, safe environment to share experiences, offer guidance, provide resources and emotionally support one another.

Financial Assistance Program

To pay for extensive medical bills, rent/mortgage, insurance premiums and basic necessities, the Financial Assistance Program provides monetary grants to women affected by breast and gynecological cancers. A cancer diagnosis undoubtedly exacerbates an individual’s financial situation and we are dedicated to alleviating the financial burden women experience throughout their active treatment period.

4th Tuesday Monthly ~ Sisterz Sit Down

The next Support Group will be Tuesday 1/28/25 from 5-8 p.m. in the Conference Center at 810 S. Belle Ave. Corona
(in the South side of Corona Regional parking lot - parking is on 9th and Belle)

This event is for women in all stages of their cancer journey - so whether you are newly diagnosed, in remission or living with cancer, this party is to celebrate you!

Put on your coziest pajamas and join us for a night of delicious food, exciting activities, and plenty of fun with an incredible community of women who understand your journey.

This is more than just a party—it’s a chance to make new friends, reconnect with old ones, and celebrate life together.
